This modern farmhouse is truly two houses connected by a conditioned breezeway. This custom home was built for clients who already owned family land located on the Elizabeth River. The views are spectacular, but this home has it all. No detail was left undone. This home features a wide insulated vinyl that mimics Hardie plank without the maintenance and custom stone features. Natural juniper tongue and groove line the porch ceilings creating farmhouse curb appeal. This house was special because it was designed to meet the family’s unique needs including a large classroom with barn doors, a custom shiplap doghouse with lighting under the steps, a beautiful library with custom wood shelving and even a tiny toilet for the two youngest family members.

In addition to the front porch, the rear porch off the great room is a perfect place to relax and can easily be converted to a covered porch, sunroom or screened-in porch. The Blue Retreat with In-Law Suite

This beautiful multi-generational custom home has an attached but private in-law suite creating a safe yet comfortable living area for the in-laws. In addition to an exterior entrance to the in-law suite, a common hallway offers an interior connection point as well. It is literally two homes combined. The in-law portion has its own full kitchen, sitting area, full bath, two bedrooms and even its own screened porch.

The main house has 3 bedrooms and a flex room that can be converted to a 4th bedroom, 3 full bathrooms, large walk-in pantry and laundry, and a drop off station. There is a large covered rear porch that can also be converted to a sun rom or screened porch.

The Kerry Ann

This large ranch is an expanded version of our most popular floor plan, The Kimberly Dawn. It is an incredibly livable space and is a Tucker Homes favorite for sure. It is a split ranch with the master bedroom behind the garage and two smaller bedrooms on the left side of the house with a full bathroom in the middle. The large great room, dining room and kitchen are all in one visible space and make family gatherings ideal. In addition, there is a large walk-in pantry and laundry room and a convenient drop off station near the garage door. The second floor area is more like a suite and serves as a 4th bedroom compete with a full bath and loft area. It is the perfect living area for a grown child, in-law or just second master bedroom.

These photos were taken of a  custom home  built in the Hickory section of Chesapeake.  The kitchen features dual colored cabinets with leather finished granite counter top .  Cottage style interior doors and trim package along with mission style exterior doors give this design a clean simple look desired by many.  The mater bathroom features a large tile stand alone shower and free standing tub.  Luxury vinyl tile runs throughout the family gathering rooms creating a spacious living area.  Custom finishes like shiplap, framed bathroom mirrors and solid wood master bedroom closet shelving make this home livable and beautiful.     

The Tall Cedar Farmhouse

Additionally, there is a convenient drop-off area and large, walk-in laundry room. The half bath can be converted to a 2nd master closet. You will fall in love with the 4th bedroom in the finished room over the garage. There is also an option for a third full bath upstairs as well as a sitting/loft area creating another master suite. Garage can be changed to a side loading option. This plan also features a screened porch option off the kitchen and great room.

The Taylor Douglas

This affordable split ranch is all you need. If you are looking for a starter home or downsizing from a larger house, this is a perfect plan. There are three bedrooms downstairs and the FROG could be a 4th bedroom, home office or play room. There is an optional full 3rd bathroom upstairs. The open floor plan makes entertaining easy. This home features a walk-in laundry room, large master walk-in closet, kitchen island, breakfast nook, and a formal dining area.

In additional to new home construction, we also construct detached garages.  Who doesn't need more storage, right?  Like house plans, there are so many garage styles and designs.  We can build single, double, or even triple car garages that include carports and rooms over for storage or for living spaces.
